Every summer, the STEM Center organizes camps for students grades 2-7 in a variety of topics. We stagger our camps so that students have a choice of subjects to pick from, and friends and siblings can be in the same class if they are close in age. We work with talented teachers from the area as instructors for our camp and mix academics with physical activities to give kids a well-rounded summer experience.
Camp activities range from introducing scientific principles, food webs, building math skills through games, simple “crime scene” investigations, programming a variety of robotic systems, and model rocketry.
