Robotics Program

The STEM Center’s Robotics program taught Madison County youth to design, build, and test rovers, or space exploration vehicles, through a collaboration with the Mannie Jackson Center for Humanities (MJCH) and Madison County Housing Authority (MCHA). Through the robotics program, students ages 7-14 were able to learn that they are capable and that they have the skills to succeed in STEM-related fields, such as robotics. They designed and built rovers, then engineered pieces of the rover to solve specific problems.
